These dirt bags bought my student loans and call me every day nonstop from the Phillipines. I will never pay them a dime. Scum of the earth. Horribly evil corporation. Probably just going to off myself because this place RUINED my credit. Can't really survive like this.

According to my bank statement, they accepted my automatic monthly payment. (For context: never been late paying, and pay more than minimum due). Two days later, they dated a letter to me saying they’d changed my account number (no explanation for why was given). A week and a half later, they called and said I was late on my payments. I went online, and there was no transaction showing for that month (despite my bank showing it), and Nelnet still showed the recurring transactions for all months before and after. Essentially, they blocked the automatic payment for that specific month without notifying me, and then called my account late. Very scammy, very uncommunicative. It’s scary what they can do without any permission or recourse.

Student Loans are the biggest scam in American History. If you are looking to apply for loans do not go to school. It’s better to gain experience or go to a program you can afford.

2-words: Highway. Robbery. Way to discourage people for going for higher education and earning a masters degree in a highly sought-after profession. Accruing interest DAILY, making a 50K degree turn into a 200K bill by the time I'm done paying. No wonder my generation or the one below isn't able to buy a home unless they have a military spouse. I wish I would have come from a family who could have just paid for my college; word from the wise, DON'T GET INTO STUDENT LOAN DEBT!!! DO WHATEVER YOU CAN TO NOT TAKE OUT STUDENT LOANS. Our dumb ass government shouldn't be charging us interest on TRYING TO BETTER THE COUNTRY THROUGH HIGHER EDUCATION!
Nightmare is the only word I have to describe our student loan situation.

Today's 5 hour and 38 minute call truly was "unprecedented" to say the least. A student loan payment took 8 business days to process, later than a second payment made 4 days later. The first payment already taken from my bank account still has not been reflected on my balance 2.5 weeks later. Once I helped support realize they effectively stole my money, I was told it would take up to 15 business days to correct. About two hours later on the call a supervisor informed me that timeline was incorrect and there was no timeline to properly reflect my account balance.

You had 3 years to prepare for payments resuming and several months since we knew there was no forgiveness. Your website fails to address important borrower questions, and your chatbot Sage conflicts with phone support saying you will NEVER ask for our social security number. Do better, your lack of preparedness and professionalism truly is unprecedented.

They lag payments so you go to pay off something and you still owe 2.00 here or 3.00 there. This is because you can’t pay the potential added interest due to only being able to pay on the current balance. Pretty bad….. smh

I was set up with this loan servicer when Great Lakes went under or whatever. They sent me notices about payments due. I paid them and they left me alone. If I had a question I reached out , I was put on hold while I doomscrolled and when they picked up they always answered my questions. I’m not supposed to like them because status quo but I have a loan that I owe and they handle my payments. It’s cool. It’s whatever y’know. Your mileage may vary.

Absolute trash. Is it odd that every other bill I pay is on time and I’m always late on these bills? That’s because when I’m ready to pay, their website is either down or moved to another page. Also I schedule a payment and it doesn’t even go through so it ends up late. Ridiculous
